Chocolate & Peanut Cake

This cake was made for an ex-boyfriend’s birthday and perhaps that relationship had to die for my relationship with cake to flourish…

Its hard to describe how good this cake tasted but trust me, the room went silent once it was served. The combo of sharp brittle with smooth buttercream, alongside the balance of salty and sweet, lives forever in my memory.
